Only candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2012/ 2013 JABM examination are eligible for the aptitude test.
Application should purchase a bank draft of N2,000 at any conventional bank in favour of CRUTECH which will be submitted at the examination venue.
FUTA Post UTME 2012/2013 details
All candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure their first or/and second choice(s) and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in March, 2012 are invited for computer-based screening exercise in the University from Wednesday, 6th June to Saturday, 9th June, 2012.
Similarly, candidates who made FUTA their first or/and second choice(s) for the Direct Entry Admission for the 2012/2013 academic session are also invited for a computer-based Pre-Admission screening exercise on Saturday, 9th June, 2012.

JAMB pegs UTME cut-off mark at 180
It equally pegged the National Cut-off Mark for admissions into polytechnics, colleges of education and other diploma-awarding institutions at 160.
This decision marks the official commencement of the 2012 admission into universities and other tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
The decision to set the cut-off points was taken after the 2012 combined Policy Committee meeting on admissions to Degree-awarding institutions, National Diploma, Nigeria Certificate in Education and National Innovation Diploma-awarding institutions in Abuja.
Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’i, who chaired the meeting, appealed to the various institutions to adhere strictly to admission guidelines.
