The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the May/June 2025 WASSCE results for school candidates on Monday, August 4, 2025.
Students across Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and other West African nations who sat for the exam can now check their results online or via SMS.

- Passed with 5 credits (including English & Maths): 754,545 (38.32%)
- Drop from 2024 performance: 72.12% → 38.32% (a 33.8% decline)
- Results withheld due to malpractice: 192,089 (9.75%)

How to Check WASSCE 2025 Result
Option 1: WAEC Online Portal
- Visit www.waecdirect.org
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Exam Number
- Select “May/June” and the Year: 2025
- Enter your e-PIN Voucher Number and PIN
- Click “Submit” to view and print your result
Option 2: Check via SMS

Digital Certificates & Redress
- Digital certificates will be available within 48 hours of result release
- Physical certificates will be issued by schools within 90 days
- Candidates with withheld results should contact their school authorities for follow-up
