Many have been founding it difficult to connect their laptop computer using phone, here I am going to elucidate and demystify the mystries ecountered while trying to do that only follow the steps or rudiments i am going to state below:

Before trying to connect your pc or laptop to the internet using your phone as a modem, you have to get all these below:



LAPTOP OR DESKTOP COMPUTER
PHONE WITH GPRS
PC SUITE OF THAT PARTICULAR PHONE YOU BOUGHT
GOOD USB CABLE OR EXTERNAL USB BLUETOOTH HARDWARE

After getting the stipulated items above follow the steps:
- First put on your pc or laptop and as well your phone
- Insert the USB cable into your phone
- After inserting the USB to your phone then plug the other end to your pc or laptop then your phone will ask you a question 'USB data cable connected. Select mode.' select ok then among the options given I want to use Nokia phone as an example select 'Nokia mode'
- After a while the your pc or laptop will recognise your phone with the help of the Pc suite installed in your Pc.

Now on the screen of your Pc duble click where your PC SUITE is, this is for Nokia Pc suit user 7 when it opens look at the Pc suit if your phone name is in it, if you see your phone name at top end of the suit bear it mind that your phone has now synchronised with your Pc or laptop.
Then click where internet icon is it looks like a globe and allow it for while it will be connecting to internet untill it rewrites 'connected '.
